A bright and innovative product development from Certified Comparator is the introduction of LED light sources. Called Tru Light, these allow the user infinitely adjustable intensity. LED light sources standard for profile (back light), through the lens lighting (direct surface illumination) and Quality Vision International's unique ring light for oblique surface illumination. TruLight LED lighting save money by using less electricity, reduce heat output in your quality lab and eliminate the need for expensive special mercury bulbs. |

Perhaps the most creative product introduction has been eCAD, the first electric solution to overlays. eCAD® is a new electronic overlay package consisting of software and internal comparator hardware that allows a CAD model to be projected with a profile tolerance band onto the comparator screen. |

| eCAD conveniently uses the native CAD file directly on the optical comparator screen thereby: |
- Preventing the painstaking process of creating accurate overlay templates
- Stopping the loss of accuracy of a physical overlay as compared to the original native CAD file
- Ending the need for the special storage soltions of traditional overlay templates
- Ceasing certification of and recertification of overlay templates
- Preventing the down time associated with having physical overlay templates created from original CAD files
- Avoiding the frequent cost of a design change thereby necessitating the creation of a new overlay template
